Im so excited about this weekend. We are headed to Palatka, FL. were I grew up for the Blue Crab Festival!! I have to say its going to be a good time. Memorial Day weekend is approaching and that means it is time for the 2011 Blue Crab Festival in downtown Palatka, Florida. If you are looking for something different to do this weekend, head south on Highway 17.
A Beauty pageant, seafood, live entertainment, a parade, arts and crafts booths and more are waiting for you on the St. John’s River.
The Blue Crab Festival features arts and crafts from artisans, craftsmen, and shopkeepers who bring a variety of toys, furniture, paintings, pottery, clothes, stained glass jewelry, quilts and more for your shopping pleasure!
Seafood Cookoff kicks off on Saturday May 28th at 10:00 AM, so take your taste buds on a ride and enjoy some of the best seafood chowders and gumbos this festival has to offer!
